LaTonya Kittles Hendricks serves as president and CEO of PR Strategists, LLC, a health communications company that specializes in strategic communications planning, clinical trial recruitment and stakeholder engagement. Founded in 2008 and based in the Washington, D.C. metro area, PR Strategists is a small, woman-owned, 8(a) certified business.  As President and CEO, Ms. Kittles Hendricks leads and provides strategic communications counsel and support for industry and government clients, including the National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), National Cancer Institute (NCI), as well as the NIH Clinical Center. Prior to establishing PR Strategists, Ms. Kittles Hendricks worked for NIH for 15 years. She previously served as chief of NCI’s Office of Communications and Education (OCE), Communications Planning and Coordination Branch, where she provided communications guidance to NCI leadership, and directed the development of strategic communications plans for priority programs.

She has served on various boards and supported communications efforts, including with the American Red Cross and KidsPeace. 

Ms. Kittles Hendricks holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism-public relations from the University of Maryland, and a master’s degree in clinical research organization and management from Drexel University.
